1. Agreement

By creating an account or using Career Best (the “Service”) you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. You must be at least 16 years old.

2. Intellectual property & brand

The Service, including its software, design, text, graphics, the “Career Best” name, logo, and all related marks, is owned by Career Best and protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Service for your personal job search.

You may not, without our prior written permission:

• copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the Service or its content;
• use the “Career Best” name, logo, or branding, or any confusingly similar mark, for any product, service, or promotion;
• reverse-engineer or attempt to extract the source code of the Service, except where that restriction is prohibited by law;
• scrape, crawl, or bulk-download the Service, or use it to build a competing product or a dataset;
• remove or obscure any proprietary notice.

You keep ownership of the content you provide (your resume, answers, and profile). You grant us a licence to store and process it solely to operate the Service for you, as described in our Privacy Policy.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• submit information you know to be false in any application;
• use the Service to apply for roles on behalf of anyone other than yourself;
• probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Service, or breach any security or authentication measure;
• submit URLs or content designed to attack our systems or other users, including SSRF, injection, malware, or phishing content;
• overload or interfere with the Service or its infrastructure.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. AI-assisted applications

The Service drafts and can submit job applications on your behalf according to the autonomy level you set per agent. You are responsible for reviewing applications where your chosen settings require it, and for the accuracy of the information you supply. Factual answers are submitted exactly as you enter them; the Service does not fabricate experience.

5. Third-party sites

The Service interacts with third-party job boards and applicant tracking systems under their terms. We source from APIs and publicly available data and flag any source that would require automating your personal account. You are responsible for your own compliance with the terms of any site you direct us to use.

6. Disclaimers & liability

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee interviews, offers, or that any application will be delivered or considered. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Career Best is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

7. Changes

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be notified in-app or by email. Continued use after changes take effect is acceptance.
